“Good day to ya,” or “Good mornin to ya,” as they say good morning here in Ireland. Cloudy morning. High to be 61 with a low of 48. Zero percent chance of rain today. Got some sleep at Mannix Point Campground where we stopped at 2:30am. We got up at about 8:45am, got showers and headed straight out. Experiences today will be in Dingle.

On the way to Dingle we stopped at Inch beach at Sammy’s for an ice cream. This has a gift shop and restaurant. The ice cream was to die for. Kevin described it the best. A cross of American ice cream and texture of cheesecake. It was exquisite.

Arrived in Dingle and what a cute fishing town! Quaint shops of all types (gift shops, clothing, leather, etc..) coffee shops, and restaurants sitting a long narrow streets with stone sidewalks. We windowed shopped along the narrow streets until we happened at a cute place to have coffee. We ended up having an espresso at An Cupan Tae Cafe while sitting outside enjoying the weather and passerby’s.

We then jumped back in the car and drove to Slea Head. This is all part of Dingle and is a drive that you can do with attractions to see (and landscape) along the way. If you do the entire drive and stop at all the places it will take you about half a day. We did not do this as we had other things that we wanted to see. We drove about 15 or so miles. It was breathtaking to say the least!

Our last stop was Tralee at Woodlands Campground for the night.

Make memories not excuses!
