Skyview Theater is the place to go if you want that retro outdoor movie experience. The outdoor drive-in theater has been in been business for 72 years! The theater was built in 1948 by the late Carlos Crum. Then it was purchased in 1994 by Walt.
We seen this place online when searching for local outdoor theaters and noticed it had a double feature this weekend. Grease was showing! And the other featuring “Footloose” Starring Kevin Bacon.
We had to go to this one! As you can see in my music rewiew “Grease”, I am a long time fan of thid movie.
There is nostalgic car speakers that are still functionable and available for use, or you can choose FM stereo sound using your car’s stereo. Just tune your radio to frequency 88.5 FM to enjoy your favorite movie stars under the stars in the comfort of your own car.
The tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. Tickets are non-refundable if purchased online. The gates opens at 8pm the night of the showing. Movies start aproximatley at 9:30.
Adult (ages 12 and over) $8 each
Police/Fire/Military $6 each
Child (ages 4 – 11) $4 each
Ages 3 and under Free
This is a great experience to make memories, romantic getaways with a retro touch!
