This past weekend we went to the historic village of Roscoe. A small qauint village of shops and museums located oin Coshocton, Ohio. Roscoe Village was eslablished in the 1830’s and is nestled with tiney sho, museums and classes for all ages.
There are a variety of small historic shops from antiques to candy stores. First stop was the Roscoe Village Sweets & Treats, which had a large variety of modern to nostalgic candies from yesterday. We then visted a leather shop with handmade items from Purses to checkerboards. Very nice craftsmanship! A must visit.
We then went to the town of Coshocton on the square. We first visited the Antique Mall on Main Street. This is a very large antique mall and a must see! We really enjoyed the vintage stereograph viewer that was not for sale, unfortunatley..
Then we went on to eat at The Railroad Resturaunt & Saloon. This resturaraunt was awesome! It was set up with an 1800’s Bar that was carraiged in from California back in the early 1800’s. This is one of the last 3 that is around today. We both had the filet mignon which was great! then finiished off with dessert. 5 Stars!
